Long

MAURER is Adrian Maurer, a Spanish DJ and producer living in Berlin. Before techno there was classical music and percussion, and it still shows: rhythmic detail, careful sound design, and tracks built around the drums.

The sound is powerful percussion and hypnotic grooves, with melodic layers that add depth without taking the floor away from the rhythm. Techno and hip-hop are the two influences, and from hip-hop comes the sampling. The result is direct, physical and made for the club.

His music has been released on Molekül, BCCO, Transition, Boisha, Vibrant, VALOR, Laburnūm Records and Mass London, supported by Future 666, Uberkikz and Jakojako, and featured on HATE, Odyssey and HÖR Berlin. He has played in Medellín, Cali, Armenia, Cyprus and at Terminal V, and his next dates include Riyadh, Paris, Los Angeles and Brisbane.
